Dallas and her son, Beau move back to Popular Falls after her ex-husband goes to prison. She lives on the same property as her parents and brother. Myer moves back to Popular Falls after a career ending football injury. Myer and Dallas are really good friends and he is always there for Dallas and Beau. Myer knew he always had feelings for Dallas but Dallas always thought they were just friends but one night when Dallas and Myer are forced to sleep in the same tent she starts having second thoughts on just being friends.

This was a great sequel to Rustic Hearts I do feel like this is a direct sequel instead of a standalone sequel because you get a lot more of the first couple Sophie and Braxton in this book. With that being said I wish their was more of Dallas and Myer because I loved Myer soo much he was soo charming and down right sexy! I mean he came back to Popular Falls to be a cowboy!! I loved Dallas and her son Beau she was a great mom to him considering the life she had previously. I also love the relationship between Dallas and Myer it was just easy and they were just perfect for each other. If you are looking for a friends to lovers small town romance this is the book for you!
